You can buy an attachment for the stroller that fits car seats, but I am not sure if you can still put in another child. I put my 2 month old in without the car seat and she loves it. It lays back far enough to accommodate babies.

There is still a slight recline even though the seat is completely up. Sits more staight up than my single jogging stroller.

Will this stroller easily and comfortably accommodate a tall child (<43")?

The product specifications state it will accommodate a child under 46" tall; however, after much research I am finding that most strollers cannot actually live up to this claim even if they say they do. I am looking for a stroller that will seat both a very young child and a tall 4 year old comfortably, with plenty of air circulation around their heads under the canopy on a hot day.

Yes, our strollers generally accomodate a child up to 46" tall. However, it is a general statement since body styles vary widely between children. For example, a child with a longer than average torso may experience less headroom under the canopy, whereas a child with longer legs may find it more comfortable.
