As long as you have enough memory, it will work. I play this on my laptop and have no problems. I did however adjust some of the settings ( picture quality/details) on the game to make it run faster. That seemed to help me out because my laptop isn't a "gaming" version.

I don't believe so. For me, I just bought it and installed it fine. It has all the rollercoaster tycoons inside of it.

First of all, all of roller coaster tycoons are compatible with Windows Vista. The newest works really well with it as long as you have a good graphic card. Second, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum is the newest and as of now will be the last to come out. Due to a falling out between Chris Sawyer and Atari on the roller coaster tycoon issue it will be the last.

What kind of graphics card does it need?

Does this game require more than a standard graphics card that comes already installed in most computers? I want to get it for somebody but I know they don't have a custom or upgraded computer.
