Not unless you enjoy having the pads rest in the middle of your shins or are around 3 and a half feet tall.

answer 2
Heck yeah you can do leg curls. You have to remove the pads that are around your knees so you can put your thighs flat on the bench, so I recommend not putting the plastic cap on that bar-pad.

Question
What is the required bar length for this gym?
Bought this gym and separate weights and bar, and the bar which is 5' is too short for this gym. Anyone have any suggestions?

You can use a 7' bar. The system works with both Standard and Olympic sets. The distance between the uprights is 48 inches the distance between the collars on the bars should be about 54" apart just to have enough slide room.
Hope this helps

answer 2
You really don't have any options other than to buy a 7' bar. We had purchased a 6' bar and it was too short so we returned that one and bought a 7' one. 7' is great though it takes up a lot more space from side to side.
