Questions & Answers for Gold's Gym Gold's Gym XRS 20 Bench

Question
Seat angle adjustable?
I can see that the back is adjustable, but can you change the angle of the seat itself? Specifically, does it angle up for when you want to do decline work? Thanks.

Yes. The bench adjusts very easily. You can incline the bench at 4 different angles, then there is the 180 degree/flat, and lastly a slight decline. I use decline for my dumbbell chest presses.

No, not really! The bench can be inclined and pushed back to take up less room or moved to some other location, but the weight frame itself still takes up about a 6'x3' wide space. If you leave the bench inclined and in position it sticks out another 4'(ish) where the bench is. Hope that helps.

I'm a shorter person-5'3". I use it for pullups and chinups. I just bend me knees and pullup or chinup and it works just fine. I don't know the exact height.

Question
How much does the box weigh??
Hello, I've been looking @ this gym for the past several days trying to decide if it's a good buy. After reading most of the reviews and Q&As it seems to be well worth the price. Now I'm just trying to figure out if I can manage picking it up @ the store or have it delivered to my home. Can someone tell me if the gym is too heavy in the box to be picked up @ the store??

Box is pretty heavy-128 Lbs. Wal-mart was helpful bringing it out to the car for me. One piece of advice-build it where you plan to use it! I got the box in the front door, opened it right there, and moved the pieces one by one to where I planed on using it. It was worth the effort.

Question
I'm 6' will i be able to squat easily? Will the supports work for overhead pressing? And does the preacher curl allow full extension?

I also am 6' and squat comfortably. The supports work well for seated over head press( I sit right on the bench) or you can leave them up as you would for squats, and do them standing. I alternate and both work great. As for the preacher, there is no problem getting full extention. And the bar attachment that came with it is probably the best for isolation that I've used
