Works wonderful on carpet. The others with small wheels won't work.

We use this on our carpet. I would guess it is of a medium thickness. The baby has no problem rolling herself around the different stations.

We use ours on a rug. I'm not sure if it will go on all carpet but I've had no problems. My daughter seems to have a little more control on the rug because she can't walk yet either so she doesn't slip around.

The toy table is about 17" height from the floor - however the Around We Go should not be used for an infant to pull up on.

It takes up no more space then a baby swing. That's exactly where we put ours because my little one has out grown the swing. It's great because I live in an apartment and there isn't much space for a regular walker.

Question
will he get bored fast of the activity table?
My kid is learning to walk and he is constantly falling and hitting his head against the floor so now he is full of brouces and we are afraid he might one day end up hitting his head much too hard so we are seriously considering buying a baby walker. Now, i have my doubts about this walker because my baby is incredibly curious and he may get bored fast of the toys in the activity table and after a while he'll be crying every time i put him there...that's actually stopping me from buying this.
Is there a way to remove the toys in it and put others instead (some he already has for example? just for the change)
Thanks!!

The toys are not replaceable, however with 10 toys and 16 different activities your son should not become bored quickly.

Question
Weight Limit
My son is 7 months and we are looking for a toy to entertain him while I get things done around the house. He weighs about 20 lbs. but can't walk by himself yet. Will he be too heavy to put in the seat? How long will the seat support him?

The suggested weight limit for the activity station seat for the Around We Go is 25 lbs. The seat can be easily removed to allow your son to continue to use the activity station as he grows.

Working backwards from the assembly instructions, twist the activity station table off of the base. Then unfasten the rotation collar of the seat support ring assembly from around the table column. The legs can then be unscrewed from the seat support ring.

Question
Description says baby must be able to sit up unassisted to use this product. Is this true?
My 6-month-old can sit upright with my help, but if I let go completely, she still rolls forward.
I read some reviewers used this for babies as young as 4 months, and I KNOW they can't sit up alone at only 4 months. So, what's the REAL verdict?

My baby is pretty tall for her age (about 28 inches), so I don't think her height would be a problem.

I would not recommend this to a baby that small/short. My 7 month old is pretty tall and his feet are just barely touching the floor. When he's on the hard floor and has socks on, he can't push himself around because he can't make enough contact with the floor, but on the carpet he has a little leverage. Of course, on carpet, the wheels don't roll as easily. Great toy, but you may want to wait a couple of months so that she can get a little taller.
