I use it on my carpet and it works wonders for me, and the great thing is, is that the carpets in my living room are really stiff and the last vacuum we had bought blew up because it couldnt handle it. I also had one a year ago w/o attachments and I had mostly carpet, within 3 times of using it the fleas that were in the apartment before we moved in were gone. If you find my review you can see how much it picks up.
