There was no drawer. Yes, there is a shelf and it can be removed but the door has to be wide open in order to remove it.

I think you should go to www.firstalert.com and read specifications and caveats regarding what you can safely store in this safe.

Yes the shelf is removable and has several slots to adjust the height.
Hard to say about your album size. It does have ample room and should store your album depending on the size of course.
I wish it had two more shelf's myself.

Yes, the shelf does come all the way out. The interior dimensions are 13.25 W x 12.5 deep x 13.63 high., so you can measure your actual album to see what it measures.

I think it would probably fit, I just got a 'document box' which is slightly larger than letter size (8-1/2 x 11) manilla folders, and it fit just fine, but the lid does not fit. I'm laying it down, but I suppose it may fit with the cover if I were to remove the shelf... Anyhow, plan accordingly, be flexable, it should work just fine.

Yes, there are 2 keys provided as well. The keyhole is located below the keypad and you have to use a small phillips head screwdriver to remove the little door that covers the keyhole. The electronic keypad is nice because you can program any number (3-8 digits) and change it whenever you like. It operates on 4 AA batteries and when they fail it alerts you and you can always use the keys to get it open if they completely drain.

answer 2
I am sure it can but it is quite heavy. I would suggest if your seriously thinking about mounting it to the wall to remove the sheet rock and reinforce the wall studs to handle the extra weight. This being said, drilling holes for mounting will negate the waterproof feature of this safe.

answer 3
This safe weighs about 90 lbs You would need to have extremely sturdy walls or studs to do so. Almost anything can be done if you know what you are doing, but I really consider his a floor safe.

answer 4
I believe somewhere in the specifications or Q&A it was explained that bolting would require holes which would breach the integrity of the safe and result in not meeting the waterproof feature. I suppose if one were to epoxy some sort of accessory to the safe, it could be bolted down. If your intention is to drill into the case then why not buy a safe with a bolting accessory? This is a great safe and by the time you get your stuff in it, while not impossible, you're average guy is not gonna walk out the door with it.

No it is not designed to be bolted to the floor i.e., there are no threaded holes or attachments. Could it be? Probably if you wanted to get creative. I was initially concerned about this but, this safe is heavy enough (90lbs) that your average is guy is not going to walk out the door with it. Also, if you bolt it down by breaching the metal casing, you'll affect its ability to float. So I wouldn't be too concerned about bolting.
answered 2 years, 5 months ago
By
Seal65
answer 5
No, this safe cannot be bolted to the floor. The reason for this, is that this safe is waterproof and is designed to float if in flooded home to aid in recovery. Holes in the safe to bolt it down would defeat this purpose.

Not recommended since drilling holes in this safe would void the warranty. Since this safe is WATERPROOF as well as Fireproof it is airtight when the door is closed to prevent water from entering it. Drilling holes in the safe would compromise the level or fire and water protection you receive.

I believe this model will accommodate more than 1,000 sheets of 12 x 12 paper, depending upon what else you may put into the safe. I found it more than adequate to accommodate a thick 3-ring notebook measuring 10.5 x 11.5 with some room to spare.

The safe will accommodate 12x12 - however, as you don't mention the paper weight (thickness), I'm not comfortable responding that it would hold 1000 sheets. As a reference, I'm sure the safe would hold at least 5 or 6 reams of standard copy paper. Hope that helps! :)
