My daughter weighs 24 lbs and is 22 months old it says up to 36 months but my 5 year old sister loves to ride on all of my little girls toys and she weighs 46 lbs and she rides it all the time and it is still going strong. I left it out in the rain too and it still works.

Yes, It does comes with the batteries. Four AA batteries are need for this toy.

Will this toy work for tall babies?
My little boy is 9mo, 30in, and cruising all over the furniture. I'm interested in this toy, but concerned that it might not be tall enough for him in the push position. Will this work for taller babies, or will it be too short?
