The Extreme has handlebars that vibrate so it seems like they're going along dirt roads. Supposedly makes it seem more real, but it just makes your kids' hands uncomfortable after a while.

No. You need 4 D cell batteries that will require a phillips head screw driver to install. The batteries will last 2 1/2 to 3 hours depending on brand

Question
Just want to know the maximum weight for the smart cycle.
The smart cycle gives the age level but does not indicate a maximum weight for the cycle. Can anyone please tell me. I have an older child that still might be able to play the games but I'm not sure if she can use it. THANK YOU!

I am purchasing this to have at my home for when my grandchildren come over and they range from 3 to 8 yrs of age. So I have been shopping around and Kmart's website shows a weight limit of 200 lbs. I dont plan on testing that but I do feel better knowing this is something they all can enjoy.

I would say maybe no more than 55 pounds, it's small compact size, so it might be harder for a person with longer legs to pedal, but for weight it matters most for pedaling, you don't won't to wear the pedals down, and never let an older person stand up and pedal on it. They will break.

I think that you may have a "lemon" and should probably return it for another one. The one I have here has never done that.
