I have this same chair in the leather, my neice had a dog that chewed the wire that makes the motor turn on, can I buy a replacement wire.

If you review the manual for the chair you will find the number to order replacement parts. On my chair that remote plugs in like a power adapter. So it would be easy to replace.

Yes, it's wide enough for an average man. The weight limit is 250 lbs. After seeing the picture you're talking about I wondered the same thing but it's a decent size. Note though that the arms are really low and this makes it seem not as comfortable as your usual living room chair.

Yes, this chair reclines well. It doesn't go all the way back, but relcines a good bit and the nice thing is that you can "lock" it into position with the tension wheels, so it's not moving all the time on you.
