With regards to the Nintendo Wii the guitars for Rockband and Guitar Hero are NOT compatible with each other. Becuase GH uses the Wii-mot and rock band doesnt they will not work for each other. Harmonix stated that any questions with regards to the reason they are not compatiable with each other should be fielded to Activison. But you can use the GH3 guitar with GH World Tour.

Yes!!! I find it easier to use as I have smallish hands. Also, the motion sensor seems to be more sensitive on the Rock band guitar. At least this is true for the XBox360. Happy gaming, play it LOUD, and rock on :)

Guitar hero for wii

I bought my son the Guitar Hero World Tour (guitar & one game-$119) for the wii. I also bought him the Guitar Hero III (guitar & one game-$68) as I do not know which one to give him. Does the guitar work with both games or vice versa? Which one should I keep? Please help! I also purchased an extra guitar that stated it was a guitar hero III guitar--will that work on the world tour or would I need a different guitar if I keep that package deal? Please help a confused Mom!

As long as the games are for the same system, i.e. the Wii or Playstation 3 etc. then yes they'll both work. Likewise, the guitars will work for both songs as long as they are made for the gaming system that your son has. He will love these games I promise!

The Bundle comes with the guitar and the game. You use your game contoller to fit inside it. You can purchase another guitar because you can play 2 player and walmarts price is really good for just the guitar too. No stupidity I wondered too.

No, you wouldn't be able to use the drum and mic with the regular games, because in the regular games, there's no recording or programming for them. Sorry. :(
