You never take more than 3 per day. But only with meals that contain fat. If you are havinf fat-free yogurt with fruit OR a meatless salad with fat-free dressing, you would not take a pill. A 120-ct package will last about 40 days, but could go a little long depending on your diet.

It kinda depends on you. No more than 3 are recommended. You take one after each meal but for me if I eat a meal that I know is low in fat I sometimes skip the pill because what it does is prevent the body from absorbing some of the fat you eat.

If you have not taken Alli before you should buy the started package. In the package it explains about Alli, what it does for you, how it works, and what you should do when taking Alli. You need to understand this product and why you're taking it. If you've already read everything then there is no problem getting the refill. However make sure you know abou the product before getting the refill.

This product does not contain stimulents, so it won't accelerate your metabolism, like Hydroxycut or effedrine will. Increasing your daily activity (walking, bike-riding, jogging, climbing stairs instead of taking elevator) will help it work, but the difference may not be noticed for a while. Product bonds with 25% of fat that is in your meal and keeps it from being absorbed into the body. So helps reduce your fat intake, but you need to get out of the chair too. It works; I've lost 20 pounds while using it and maintained lose while my routine was disrupted and I couldn't exercise a frequently as I had.

It has been a long time since I was 14, so I am sorry, but I do not know the rules about this. If I were in charge of your diet and pills, I would need much more information before I would recommend it for you. Your overall nutrition and habits need to be discussed and evaluated first. It is a serious medication. and it can give you sudden diarrhea--a social situation you would never! want to have to outlive.

I don't know what a health care provider would say, but as a mother and a person that has struggled with weight loss for most of their life, I would say don't do it. If you think you have issues with your weight, exercise is the way to go, especially at your age. Don't allow yourself to get caught in the trap of yo-yo diets and quick fixes. Good luck to you!

The starter kit comes with several booklets which fully explain Alli and how to use it, and a little container to hold your daily supply (it's opaque, because alli can degrade in the light)
You might want it just for the lit, since even the website is not as thorough. If you have friends who do Alli, you could ask to see their booklets, or you could buy them used online.

This happened to me for the first few weeks, then went away. During that time, however, it only happened when I ate too much fat. It was a good way for me to stop and consider what I was going to eat if I did not want that side effect. Now it doesn't happen, maybe b/c I don't eat quite as much fat on a regular basis. I had to wear a maxi pad if I want to eat a big hamburger though. I don't think it's good for someone who regularly eats high fat foods, but now I can eat a high fat meal as a treat and I have no side effects, as long as I don't do it every day. I did lose more weight with it than I ever did without it. My mother in law also has this side effect but it's helped her maintain her weight so she wears a maxi for those extreme high fat days and continues to take it. Hope this helps!

if you do not follow a diet of 15 grams of fat per meal you may have side effects such as gas with oilly spotting and bowel movements that may be loose or hard to control. You must be committed to a low fat diet when taking alli.

yes, if you eat alot of fats and oils and are new to the product. If you restrict fats and oils in your diet, it does not give you slippery diarrhea. So, if you are a new user, stay at home for a couple days and watch your fat and oil content to see how it affects your individual digestion. Not a good time to be in a new serious social situation. Or on a new job.

If you are going to get a movement like that you often feel it in your stomach before you go to the bathroom. I ate a bite of a burger once and an hour later I got cramps like my period and i went to the bathroom. I have never gone on myself and I have been taking it for 3 weeks and have lost 7 pounds with it so far. There was one pill back in the 90s that did make you go on yourself without you realising it and this isnt like that at all. BUT! I am on a low fat diet, I only eat 300-400 calories per meal and make sure I dont go over 18 grams of fat per meal. So I dont know what would happen to a person who is eating a greacy taco every night or a whole pizza. They might go on themselves... But im not sure cause I dont eat like that anymore.

The symptoms were worse in the first week and become less evident the longer you take Alli. Obviously the symptoms are worse if you eat a meal high in fat and grease. Just dont pass gas!Thats the secret to your question.

depends on the person, but I have never experienced it. If the meal you eat contains a high fat content, you may see a large amount of oil in your stools. I have experienced some gas but to make sure there aren't any accidents, I put a pantiliner on the back of my underwear. Hope this helps.

No. I was scared to try this product because so many people kept telling me the exact same thing! You will only get bad side affects if you take alli with something that contains a high level of fat. If you take it with healthy food and you are watching what you are eating you really wont have any of those bad effects.
