Read the manual:

The stated limit is 250 pounds but I would not be surprised if it could easily tolerate 20-35 pounds more.

Any stationary bike will help you lose weight provided that you use it everyday at least 30 minutes a day. But don't buy Stamina AirBike though they only warranty their product for 90 days. Don't let what happened to me happen to you, Stamina will not replace broken parts. Go for the more expensive bikes plus if you live in an apartment please be aware that this bike is Loud.

YES! This bike provides a very good cardio workout. You can adjust the resistance level to fit your own workout needs to make it easier or harder for you. At a higher resistance the bike is much harder to pedal, causing you to burn more calories, increase heart rate, etc. This is the perfect exercise tool if you are looking for an inexpensive way to work out at home while catching up on your favorite television shows at the same time. The bike is lightweight enough to move from room to room if you need to. I usually place mine right in front of my t.v. and crank the ceiling fan on above me and get to pedaling. I lost a significant amount of weight over the last year and a half, and I attribute much of it to my cardio workouts, many of which were from this exact bike.

The handles are together at the mid-point of their forward/back travel when one pedal is at its high point and the other at its low point. Hands and feet do not interfer during exercise.

The book says 250 lbs, but as sturdy as it is I would guess 300 lbs or more. My Son uses it, and he weighs more than 250 lbs and the bike is withstanding his weight, and it is made very sturdy. I don't see why the weight limit is even on it to be honest, I think it could hold alot more weight than what they've suggested.

Umm.... 126" is not correct. We got the package into the trunk of the car easily. Now admittedly my car has a large trunk, but it will easily fit into the back seat of any American car.

Note: The package is a wee bit heavy and a tad awkward, so be prepared - or have the sales types move it for you. Test moving it around in the store and ASK FOR HELP if you need it.

answer 4
I'm 5'1, not quite under 5', but I use it comfortably with the seat on the second lowest adjustment. I'd think the lowest would be comfortable for under 5'.

The handlebars' movement was uncomfortable for my short arms so I set them to be stationary and it's much more comfortable.

answer 6
I would say no if you need the handles for stability. If you think you'll be comfortable balancing on the seat and pedaling without using the handles (which are attached to the pedals and move with it in an attempt to give you upper body movement, much like an elliptical machine), then go for it. But I'm 5'2" and I can't reach the full extension of the handles, so I'd assume anyone shorter would have an even more difficult time with it. However, I still love the bike; I just pedal and either do some arm lifts to the sides with weights while I pedal or just keep my hands folded on the top of my head and it works well for me. If you'd be comfortable with that, the price is unbeatable!

You can't target weight loss. The best exercise FOR weight loss is cardio; eventually you will lose fat from all areas including the midsection. Crunches and other midsection-specific exercises will only build the muscles and if you have fat over them can actually cause your stomach to bulge if that is all you are doing. So cardio is the way to go -- this bike is great for it!

Yes. That's one of the reasons I purchased the bike. It's also good if you have back problems. It will strengthen the muscles in your back that support your spine. I have pinched nerves. I can not exercise by walking. My chiropractor recommended an exercise bike and he's absolutely correct. It's the best exercise for me.

The weight comes off evenly (even the belly fat)! It has produced very good results for me. I watch T.V. every night and exercise at a comfortable pace for an hour or more.
For muscular abs, you still must target the abdominal area, so exercise your core. :)

answer 5
As with any cardio exercise, you will burn fat. Yes, you will burn belly fat. Will you burn only belly fat? No... you will lose fat from everywhere in your body. As weight loss goes, you usually lose throughout your body in somewhat of an even rate, but belly fat has been found to be the most stubborn fat to remove and is usually last to come off. But in answer to your actual question, YES, you can and will burn belly fat with this type of exercise bike.

To lose belly fat you will have to use the bike (for cardio) and mix it in with strength excercises (example: weights, sit ups push ups) and a low fat diet.
