I estimate 2 hours 5 days a week (watch TV and move at your own pace). Move your upper body and lower body and of course, decrease your calorie count under dietitian or doctor supervision. Stay healthy!!

Everyone's weight loss varies. If you are incorporating healthy eating/diet plan with exercise, you can lose faster. If relying ONLY on exercise it will take longer. There's really no "set" answer to this question as each person is so different in the way we metabolize foods and burn calories. Much of it depends on your age/weight/gender, etc. as well.

Honestly, I think you are both too tall for this bike to actually ride it comfortably, and also maybe too heavy. I think the maximum weight suggested for use is 250 lbs. It's not a cheapie/flimsy bike, but is definitely not the strongest either like those you would find at an actual commercial gym.

The owners manual says 250 lbs. I have had it about 30 days, working out five days a week on it for 20 minutes each day, and since I am a diabetic I eat no more than 150 carbs a day, but other than that no other diet restrictions, and I have lost 28.5 lbs.

This is an awesome bike. I lost about 8lbs in 1 1/2 months & I was still eating pretty much what I wanted. You will probably lose more weight quicker since you weigh more. The seat will adjust so even at your height you should be fine. The seat starts to hurt my butt after about 30 mins, so you may want to break it up in to 15 mins, or get a seat cushion. Good luck!

This bike is NOT for a serious weight-loss program, and I can't say how much I've lost since I've used it only for a couple of weeks. I have improved my posture and lost some inches in my waist and hips. The bike is not stable enough for someone who weighs nearly 300 lbs. Get a better priced bike than this.

I just measured my bike and it is about 39 inches long from front to back. It is relatively small and easily fits in small rooms. It's lightweight, too. I move mine around wherever I want to position it in the room without any trouble. The measurement for 126 inches is WAY OFF... that must be the measurement for the box it comes in or something... because the actual bike IS very small. I do recall the box being fairly large so that must be what that measurement is.

answer 3
NO! That would make it 10 feet 6 inches long must be typo more like 4 ft. or so. It's a smaller bike ideal for apt. only weighs 48lbs.
'BUT' if you weigh anywhere near 200lbs. don't buy this model(I'd say if you are under 6ft. tall 160lbs. or less, it's for you)

Fully assembled it is 42 and a half inches long, and 22 and a half inches wide at it's widest. The manual says you need a 4ft x 6ft area to use it safely. I have it in a small 10ft x 10ft bedroom which also has a desk, a shelving unit, a chest of drawers and a futon in it, and I still have plenty of room to walk all the way around it and then some.

Any stationary bike will help you lose weight provided that you use it everyday at least 30 minutes a day. But don't buy Stamina AirBike though they only warranty their product for 90 days. Don't let what happened to me happen to you, Stamina will not replace broken parts. Go for the more expensive bikes plus if you live in an apartment please be aware that this bike is Loud.

YES! This bike provides a very good cardio workout. You can adjust the resistance level to fit your own workout needs to make it easier or harder for you. At a higher resistance the bike is much harder to pedal, causing you to burn more calories, increase heart rate, etc. This is the perfect exercise tool if you are looking for an inexpensive way to work out at home while catching up on your favorite television shows at the same time. The bike is lightweight enough to move from room to room if you need to. I usually place mine right in front of my t.v. and crank the ceiling fan on above me and get to pedaling. I lost a significant amount of weight over the last year and a half, and I attribute much of it to my cardio workouts, many of which were from this exact bike.

You can't target weight loss. The best exercise FOR weight loss is cardio; eventually you will lose fat from all areas including the midsection. Crunches and other midsection-specific exercises will only build the muscles and if you have fat over them can actually cause your stomach to bulge if that is all you are doing. So cardio is the way to go -- this bike is great for it!

Yes. That's one of the reasons I purchased the bike. It's also good if you have back problems. It will strengthen the muscles in your back that support your spine. I have pinched nerves. I can not exercise by walking. My chiropractor recommended an exercise bike and he's absolutely correct. It's the best exercise for me.

The weight comes off evenly (even the belly fat)! It has produced very good results for me. I watch T.V. every night and exercise at a comfortable pace for an hour or more.
For muscular abs, you still must target the abdominal area, so exercise your core. :)

answer 5
As with any cardio exercise, you will burn fat. Yes, you will burn belly fat. Will you burn only belly fat? No... you will lose fat from everywhere in your body. As weight loss goes, you usually lose throughout your body in somewhat of an even rate, but belly fat has been found to be the most stubborn fat to remove and is usually last to come off. But in answer to your actual question, YES, you can and will burn belly fat with this type of exercise bike.

To lose belly fat you will have to use the bike (for cardio) and mix it in with strength excercises (example: weights, sit ups push ups) and a low fat diet.

It's what I call the "old fashion" design. It is not a "slender" design. You have more butt support. As with your own bike, you must get "climatized" , no bike seat is "comfortable".

It said up to 250 lbs., and although I don't weigh that, it handled my much heavier nephew. It is prone to tip over if you try to race on it and get to rocking it side by side like you would a real bicycle. Remember it's a cheapie version!
