Honestly, I think you are both too tall for this bike to actually ride it comfortably, and also maybe too heavy. I think the maximum weight suggested for use is 250 lbs. It's not a cheapie/flimsy bike, but is definitely not the strongest either like those you would find at an actual commercial gym.

The owners manual says 250 lbs. I have had it about 30 days, working out five days a week on it for 20 minutes each day, and since I am a diabetic I eat no more than 150 carbs a day, but other than that no other diet restrictions, and I have lost 28.5 lbs.

This is an awesome bike. I lost about 8lbs in 1 1/2 months & I was still eating pretty much what I wanted. You will probably lose more weight quicker since you weigh more. The seat will adjust so even at your height you should be fine. The seat starts to hurt my butt after about 30 mins, so you may want to break it up in to 15 mins, or get a seat cushion. Good luck!

This bike is NOT for a serious weight-loss program, and I can't say how much I've lost since I've used it only for a couple of weeks. I have improved my posture and lost some inches in my waist and hips. The bike is not stable enough for someone who weighs nearly 300 lbs. Get a better priced bike than this.

I am sorry to say no but the bike has a 250 lb weight limit, I wish it would have said that in the advertisement because i am slightly over that but i deceided to use it anyway. I have only been using it a week so far so i have only lost 1 lb so far.

When one knee is up, the handles bars or straight up. When the pedals are at equal height the unit will have one handle forward, the other handle will be back.

When the knee is up, the handle bars are even. As the pedal goes forward, the same-side handle moves back toward you.

The handles are together at the mid-point of their forward/back travel when one pedal is at its high point and the other at its low point. Hands and feet do not interfer during exercise.

I plan to use this item everyday if it is
study enough as I did my Orbitrek. I noticed most of the reviews on this product come from women , middle agers, and older people. I'm a fifty something, but am more like a stout high school linebacker. Does this product have the dimension and sturdiness to handle me?

It said up to 250 lbs., and although I don't weigh that, it handled my much heavier nephew. It is prone to tip over if you try to race on it and get to rocking it side by side like you would a real bicycle. Remember it's a cheapie version!

Yes,

I'm 6'1 and was 280 when I got this machine. Arm and leg length will be fine, you can also adjust the seat height. I will say that a seat pad will be needed for everyday use, as the seat is not that comfortable.

answer 1
Umm.... 126" is not correct. We got the package into the trunk of the car easily. Now admittedly my car has a large trunk, but it will easily fit into the back seat of any American car.

Note: The package is a wee bit heavy and a tad awkward, so be prepared - or have the sales types move it for you. Test moving it around in the store and ASK FOR HELP if you need it.

This is up to you. You can disconnect the arm levels from the pedals for an arm-movement-free ride. But why would you want to? Just don't grab the handles and your ride is legs-only.

The book says 250 lbs, but as sturdy as it is I would guess 300 lbs or more. My Son uses it, and he weighs more than 250 lbs and the bike is withstanding his weight, and it is made very sturdy. I don't see why the weight limit is even on it to be honest, I think it could hold alot more weight than what they've suggested.
