I don't know the exact measurements, but it comes rolled in a vacuum sealed bag. My friend went with me in her Honda Accord, it fit in the backseat with no problem she just had to scoot the seats up. Try not to take anyone with you to pick it up. Delivery is about $9, same as you would pay for gas. Just a thought.

I ordered the full mattress - the box is 40 inches tall x 20 inches wide and 20 inches deep. Weight on packaging says 60lbs.

Just keep in mind, your back seats will fold down to make the trunk larger. It should fit...

Hey, I don't still have my box but it's roughly 15 inches on height and width and 3 1/2 to 4 feet long. I have a big suv but it fit easily in the back with groceries and lots of space left without laying down seats. I would think that it would fit in the trunk of most midsized cars and if that's a problem, it should slide in the back seat. It was hard for me to imagine that a queen size mattress was in that box but it was.

No, this mattress doesn't require a box spring. you can use a regular box spring though. you can also put it on slats, any flat base, or even just on the floor. Walmart has also a metal bedframe that works very well.

You can place it on the bed frame , however it may feel like sleeping on ripples. It works best with a solid platform. Box springs will work, but it works best with plywood on top of the boxsprings.

you want a solid support of the mattress, you do not want large gaps where the mattress can sack into. I have suggested cheapest method is a plyboard from homedepot or lowes

Actually, you do not use a box springs for this style mattress. You are suppose to use the "better than box springs frame" or something similar to that frame. For my mattress I purchased 2x4's and plywood and made my own frame. I spent somewhere around 50 dollars on my homemade frame.

It might be best to get some plywood cut to fit better. It might feel like ripples in the mattress otherwise.

No, the foam will sink down between the slats. To solve the problem, I placed a sheet of plywood between the mattress and the slats. Works fine now.

Question

Theratouch ? Only 2 Layers

I received this mattress but it does not specify all the discription like the walmart website. It does not mention that the model is Theratouch and as well the mattess has only two layers. I am afraid that I did not get the product what I have inteded to buy. Looks like a lower quality substitute. I am thinking to bring the mattress back. Does any other buyer has the same experience? Thank you.

If you look at the description above it actually says that a new updated brochure will be available soon and that the one in the package may not actually reflect the real product. Weird, but that is what they say.

It should have 3 layers, as according to the description: "Please note: The brochure included with this item may not reflect the current product specifications. An updated brochure will be available shortly."

It needs a firm platform, plywood cut to fit works best. Also a regular box springs will work. I would not try the air mattress as a foundation.

If you have a regular bed frame and box spring, then you can still use them. But your bed will be very high. I decided to purchase the Slumber 1 Steel Bed Frame due to the amount of under bed space it created. Between the frame and the mattress, I spent a total of 20 minutes putting them together. No hardware needed at all.
