i use this on wood, laminate and regular kitchen tile, since you dont hold it in any one spot for long, its perfect to get them clean.

I purchased it specifically for my laminate floors. It works better than anything else I have tried.
The documentation that came with it says it can be used on laminate floors or any sealed floors.

I love this steam mop and would recommend it to anyone with non-carpeted sealed floors.

Only used it 2 times on the laminate, seems to be fine. Very little water was left on the floor, no more than a mop and it looks great!

I throw them in the washing machine using COLD water and let them air dry.

No, it's not made to be used on carpet. There isn't a way to smoothly push it over the carpet. It's really only for hard floors.

i think this is the best deal for the money, sturdy, quiet and very easy to use. i searched the reviews for the shark and similar machines in same price range and im glad i decided on this.for around toilet and for buildup in corners, might get the handheld model, since i like this so much.

I don't think it will work on carpet you would not be able to push it although it could steam just one spot it does not suck the steam out.

It does steamfor about 2 minutes and then you have to refill.I think it would be about as effective as a clothes iron set to steam with a towel over it.
