We have read many answers to other resistance questions and they do not pertain to the question. Even in reisitance 1 it is very hard to use and it is disappointing. I am not happy with this product and will not use it my husband is good at resolving problems and he needs to know what to do.I would really like to know what to do.

ok this is ron that asked this question yesterday. first of all this machine is magnetic resistance so she shoe around the flywheel is a bunch of magnets, the closer to the wheel the more resistance. there is a cable that pulls the magnets away from the wheel to have less resistance. my cable was disconected from the small motor. beware the cable must be connested from under the small wheel and make a loop and insert the ball. you can pull on the magnets to make it easier. and don't put the bold on the flywheel too tight, it has a plastic lockring on the nut. Then try the resistance arrows before puting the covers back on. good luck. ron
PS, before starting take your 2 covers completely off even if you have to take apart the back of the pedals. Also before you finish adjust the cable, set your resistance on 10 and with the magnets close to the flywheel make the cable tight, no slack. so when you go to 1 it pulls the magnets away. you will love your machine after. ron

Yes it was at first, but I was able to get rid of the noise by adding grease to the t frame in the base and applying a tiny bit of grease to the heads of the bolts where they contacted the frame.

It is not where you place your feet as the person claiming to own one said. There is a pin that is reset to a new hole thus changing the stride length. Plainly evident if you see (or claim to own) one.

I have been eyeing it in the store. I measured and figure with a bit of creative work via a bolt change I can make it a 21" stride. 21" for $300 not bad
