You can call the Company directly that's listed in the manual. I think they charge around $80 or go to walmart and buy a multi-tip ac adapter that is 6 volts, atleast 800mA, and a center pole postive tip. Wal*Mart sells a nice multi-tip adapter for around $18

Almost any good universal will work as long as it is 6v capable and has the correct tip. Tip MUST be + polarity to work.

I just bought a 600 ma AC adapter, found it by the batteries and cable stuff, it was $12.98. I followed the advise of one of the reviews and it works great.

It runs on four D batteries, or you can use an AC adapter (not included). The bike comes with information about how to get one from the manufacturer, or you can get a 6 volt, positive tip adapter from an electronics store for a lower price.

In fact, Wal-Mart has a Jensen universal AC adapter (available online) that will work just fine!

If you're talking about the ac adapter, you can't use a universal because the company won't tell you which polarity to use. You have to order theirs because all warranties are voided if you use any other adapter than the one they provide for twenty seven extra dollars.

The seat moves forward and backward to adjust for different heights of people - the console requires 4 D batteries or an adapter you can purchase seperately

The seat adjusts forward and backward only since it is a recumbent bike you adjust for height by moving the seat forward to be closer to the pedals or back if you are taller.

answer 2
No, there is no height adjustment, only the distance from the seat to the pedals can be adjusted. And I've had problems getting this adjustment to work.

Question

6V 600 mA vs 6V 1300 mA AC adapter

A couple of people on here have talked about using a 6Volt 600 mAmp AC adapter, and they say it works fine. I have a 6Volt 1300mAmp AC adapter. Will it work just as well, work better, or will it burn out the electronics?

It is recommended to use at least 800mA. I'm sure 600mA will work, but I would not use the fan or the MP3 music speaker while running only 600mA.

mA is the rate of discharge over an hour for any given battery, and is not as important as the Volts rating.
