I just bought a 600 ma AC adapter, found it by the batteries and cable stuff, it was $12.98. I followed the advise of one of the reviews and it works great.

It runs on four D batteries, or you can use an AC adapter (not included). The bike comes with information about how to get one from the manufacturer, or you can get a 6 volt, positive tip adapter from an electronics store for a lower price.

In fact, Wal-Mart has a Jensen universal AC adapter (available online) that will work just fine!

The seat can be adjusted, slide forward or backwards, not the pedals.
My husband has back problems and has used it with no problem.

It requires four D batteries, but it drains them very quickly. The plug costs less than $30 and it works great. You will need the bike's serial number to order it from the catalog included in the package.

Question
Is the seat comfortable?
Wondering if the seat is comfortable for 30-45 minutes long rides. Also, the angle of the back of the seat - I preferr the angle not to be too steep, I would like it more upright, since I have some chronic neck issues. Anyone can comment? Thanks.

I just bought this bike last night and rode it for about 40 minutes (using the 8th programmed workout) and found the seat to be comfortable. You should be in luck with the one because the seat back is more upright. If there's an angle at all, it's probably only about 10 degrees. As a second note, the seat was easy to adjust for leg length too. Hope this helps!

Question
Someone said HOW DO I adjust the contrast?
My question would be when I got mine I had to take it back. When in the store with all the overhead lighting it was GREAT. But, when I got it home and put in a bedroom with just one over head light I could NOT see the screen display at all. Someone answered that the ac adapter solved the contrast problem. I was told by manufacturer it had a back light, but it doesn't. Does anyone know how to make the display easier to see, I can't see spending $237 and not see what I'm doing on the bike. If I could I would have kept the bike. Any one want to answer this if they have had a similar problem or resolved that problem? Thank you

No, there is no height adjustment, only the distance from the seat to the pedals can be adjusted. And I've had problems getting this adjustment to work.

Hi, I bought this bike for myself and my disabled daughter. She is short and overweight. (Prader willi syndrome) She likes it very much. It adjust easily for different size people. It has the preset programs which you can lower the resistance if it gets to hard for you. Or you can leave it on easy, level one for your entire workout. That is nice for starting out with someone that has special needs. I also like the big seat, instead of a little bike seat. Hope this helps you some. Thanks
