Im not sure if it will fit your car but yes there is a wire that comes off the head unit that you will need to extend probably in order to connect it to your headrest. I just got one though and the touch screen stopped responding the next day :-( blows.

I don't believe so, since this model is a 2xdin (double-din) and the opening of your Chevy is a 1.5 din.

Yes the unit has treble,Bass, balance and fader controls all on screen. however it does not have mid-range control.... One big drawl back if you ask me.

the monitor does tilt out automatically when the eject button is pressed. then you have a slot to put your dvd cd and even on the side of the screen is a slot for an sd card. very impressive.

Connector Type: 1 x USB - front ¦ Audio line-out ¦ 1 x composite video input ¦ 2 x audio line-in. Could some one explain to me what this means? I have seen on other sites that you are just buying the screen, do I need to buy any thing else to have this working when i purchase it? where does the cd/ dvd go in?

This is a comlete unit with tuner etc. You do not need anything else to make it operational short of an installand wiring kit, and an antenna adapter if necessary. It is double din so be sure your vehicle will take it. The cd/dvd slot is behind the screen - pressing open on the front panel will allow you to load/eject the disc... I bought this but didn't like it at all - I submitted a reveiw if you are interested...
