Can this be wired to come through my car stereo speakers? Like my ipod fm transmitter?

yes, you could use the aux inputs of your car stereo if you have them, a wireless fm transmitter kit, or a cassette adapter kit

yes it does, the power cord goes to the first screen then to the 2nd screen

They must be plugged in. When my kids used the headphones, the sound would automatically reduce to a very low level.
