I wasn't worried about the size. I bought the Sealy Ultra Rest mattress and it fits perfect. No gaps, not to tight.

The crib size is bigger than the standard size because of the thickness of the wooden frame. The actual part where you put the mattress is standard size so any standard size crib mattress should work. I used the "Kolcraft - Pediatric Crib and Toddler Bed Mattress" from Wal-mart. It's working fine for us!

nope, a standard size crib matress worked well for us. it fits perfect, the sealy ultra matress for like 50 bucks is the one we use and its perfect!

It is a piece of wood, no springs in this crib. This type of support is so much simpler to assemble and just as sturdy as the bars or springs or other cribs.

There is no mattress with this crib. You need to buy a standard crib size mattress separately.

I thought the same thing too, but we recieved ours a couple weeks ago and it is very much a "honey" color. We have an medium colored oak dresser and it matches it almost perfectly.

I don't know what the std. size is, but we bought this crib and I just tried to put the crib skirt on from our first child's room and it comes up well short on both sides (2-3" on each side). The width appears to be fine, but the short length looks terrible. We'll be trying to find a skirt that fits.

The crib box wouldn't fit in our mid-size SUV, but it had no problem fitting in a truck or van. Sorry, I already got rid of the box, but hopefully that helps

We did the site to store shipping, which is much cheaper and we took a truck to go and pick it up because we were not sure how big it was going to be but my mom has a jeep liberty and it would have fit in there with the seats down, I would say any type of SUV you will be fine you may be able to get away with it in a car but I would get something a little bigger to be on the safe side.

I don't think there are specific rails for this bed, the back can act as a headboard for most full size bed frames.

I believe the daybed-toddler bed rail comes with the kit. (It did in mine) And as far as the double bed asssembly, it just attaches to a standard double (full-sized) bed frame. Good Luck!

The Child of mine crib uses a standard size crib mattress - 52"x28" I'm using the "Kolcraft - Pediatric Crib and Toddler Bed Mattress" from Wal-mart. The description for this mattress says it's 51.625 x 27.25 x 5 and it's working fine.
