Razor USA LLC. Razor E150 Electric Scooter, Multiple Colors

Scoot around the block in style on the extremely hip Razor E150 electric scooter. Boasting a chain-driven, high-torque motor and a handy twist-grip throttle, this cool Razor scooter is perfect for older kids and teens wanting a stylish way to zip around town. Unlike Razor's E200 and E300 scooters that have motors that start from a stopped position, the Razor E150 requires a small kickoff before starting. Thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch on the Razor E150 electric scooter. The steel frame provides a solid foundation and long-lasting durability.

We have several grandchildren who are using these. The 150 is good for up to 80 lbs without suffering speed.
The larger 300 is for the kids above the 80 lb. weight.

Absolutely. It's a small power brick that connects to the charging port and then directly to the wall. It was suppose to come in the bag with the instructions.

answer 2
In fact the instructions say to push off with your foot just before applying throttle (to assist the motor). However, I'm guessing to use the scooter ONLY with foot power would cause your child's pushing leg to get sore in a hurry, since they would be pushing against the transmission- unlike a regular kick scooter.

answer 3
While I don't see it hurting the scooter, due to the motor's resistance, it's not easy to push and wont roll like a kick scooter. The scooter could be "kick pushed" short distances, but you really wouldn't want to try to use it without a charge. That being said, you can tell when the charge is going away and adjust your use accordingly.

He will be able to ride it longer than to years! I've been riding mine for a long time and I got mine at that height

answer 2
You cannot adjust the height of the handlebars. I don't think he would have much trouble using the scooter even if he were a little taller. The one thing that might prevent him would be if he out grew the weight limit on the scooter, but by the time that's going to happen, he'll probably outgrow the scooter's speed and utility. I'm sure you could resell the scooter and upgrade to a more age appropriate version when he does outgrow it.

I am 5 ft 3 inches and can still ride it with ease - so your son has the potential to be able to use it for at least a year or two.
