This would be a very good starter bike for you. Its a very comfortable bike and a super smooth ride. I would suggest to have someone tune it for you even though the instruction manuel goes over it. Assemblers at Walmart can tune the bike for you.

I honestly can not see someone that tall riding this. Handlebars do not move vertically. Weight is no prob. If you do not mind bending over a bit to ride it might work. For me I did not want a bike to lean over- I am too old. Had to replace seat with "Cloud 9 suspension seat". You Will probably have to tinker with the kikstand as I carry some weight on the rear and the design is terrible. Also I needed a tune up and tinkered a lot with front derailler. But once you get it right it is pretty good for a 200$$ bike.

Yes. You can also have it shipped to the store for free and they will build it for you and have it ready-to-ride when you go to pick it up. You just have to call the store that it's going to be shipped to and ask them to assemble it.

My mistake - you will also need a 15mm or an adjustable wrench (crescent wrench) to attach the pedals.

No. Bikes purchased online are not usually assembled in the store. To assemble this bike yourself, you will need a few metric sized Alan wrenches to attach the handlebars and possibly a Phillips head screwdriver to make any fine adjustments to the gears or brakes. The front wheel is attached with a quick release mount and does not require tools. Generally speaking, the Schwinn bikes do not require much, if any, adjustment out of the box.

I don't know the exact measurements but you should have a inch between the top tube and your inseam while having both feet on the ground. Since no one is made the same, the easiest way to see if the bike is right for you, is go into a store and try it out.

I think yes, because I am 5' 11" and it feels big (I am used to the 26" of my previous mountain bike) But remember you can change the angle of the hand bar and the seat height. The best thing would be to check one in the store.

Question
What is the frame size?
Someone keeps posting it is a 28" frame and this is wrong. You must measure from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post opening.
