Yes, the bell is included, and it is a quality item, not flimsy. Also, it is LOUD. I demonstrated to my 2-yr-old how to push the lever to ring it, but the lever takes a pretty substantial push, so he just slapped it, and it rang just fine. Surely his had got sore after a bit, but he kept on slapping it...:)

My son is about 33lbs and is fine. I don't recall the manufacturer's limit, but my 62lb daughter and 70 pound son have been standing and sitting on and driving it around the house with my youngest on it and it is no worse for the wear. I would imagine any child up to age 5 and within those weight limits would be fine for the bike.

Probably so. The box it came in was about the size of a medium suitcase.

answer 6
It would have to be a deep suitcase as the main body is welded together. the pedals are already in the wheels too. The wheels are real rubber, so any clothing in the bag would smell like petroleum. Why not ship it in the carton it comes in? BTW - this is a fabulous trike. It's very high quality, easy to assemble and grows with the child.

Hi 2peanuts: The best way to determine if the Model #33 Classic Red Dual Deck Tricycle is a good fit for your child is by comparing the measurements of the child's inseam to the distance from the seat to the pedal. The distance from the adjustable seat to the pedal range from about 11" to 13".

My grandson is just 2 yrs old and he has trouble reaching the peddles. He also has rather short legs at the moment. This is a high tricycle but built to withstand. You could try putting blocks on the peddles but if he's the only rider, you might look for a shorter tricycle. They have them.

answer 7
They outgrow the smaller trikes fast and their legs hit the handle bars. At first you might have to teach him to petal and have the seat at the lowest setting. Unless you have smaller children who would ride a 10" trike, this 12" -wheel trike should work.
