I am about 40 inches right now around my hips and it was snug at first. It does stretch a bit and becomes more comfortable when you wear it and get used to it.

I thought the website showed it in only black and white. I got white b/c it'll go with everything and it looks like an undershirt where you can see it from the bottom when I'm wearing it.
