it is supposed to hold the temp of warm water. it does not do that. i start w/hot water and within the first couple of minutes, the water is almost cold.

The label and comments from others made it clear to me that it will not heat but might HOLD the temperature level better than other models. I am not sure it even does that, but, I just add a tiny amount of water from a heated kettle for tea and adjust until it works out for me. I think if someone had a thermometer and a heating unit in it that would make it ideal.

answer 3
It is only supposed to keep water the same temp as when you put it in. I don't know how well that works though.

answer 4
No. It says to use hot water since the "heat" function is just to keep the water warm.

answer 5
This one does not have a heater so you put hot water in to start. With the agitation from the different options it helps keep warm. It should last you long enough (20-30 minutes) to get a good foot bath.

That wasn't my understanding. I expected it to keep the water warm, but I don't know how long it will stay warm. I'm done in 15 min.

No. "The heat setting is designed to maintain the temperature of warm water, not to heat water." Quoted from the Conair Instruction Booklet.

The product says 120v so I would imagine you'd need a power adapter to use higher voltage outlets like those found outside of the US.
